We specialise is making dishes that have tasters saying "WTF that's vegan?!" Everything we create is also Veto. What is Veto? It's food that is both Vegan & Keto. This means our dishes are also low-carb and diabetic friendly. Yay!

So why Veto? In most standard diets where there is a high intake of carbs, glucose is being used as a primary and immediate energy source. Fat is not required for fuel and is therefore stored in the body.

The traditional ketogenic diet consists of eating foods that are high-fat, moderate protein and low-carb. By limiting the consumption of carbs, the body is induced into a state known as ketosis. Doing so allows your body to use its own body fat as a primary energy source. 

The benefits of a Veto include weight loss, controlled blood sugar levels, increased energy levels, enhanced mental focus and clarity and consistent satiety.

Maz Valcorza is the founder of Sadhana Kitchen, which was Sydney’s first organic, vegan, wholefoods and raw food eatery. Author of Uncooked & The Naked Vegan, Maz has been working with healthy vegan and allergy friendly foods for the last 6 years. She is also an Everyday Vegan on www.everydayvegan.tv where her role is to create and run online courses teaching viewers how to make healthy and delicious vegan food.
